AI-Focused SignalFire Raises Over $1 Billion

The San Francisco-headquartered firm now has total assets under management of $3 billion

SignalFire has closed on more than $1 billion in new capital that will be invested across the firm’s seed, early, executive-in-residence (XIR), and opportunities funds, with a continued focus on supporting founders building applied AI startups.

Headquartered in San Francisco, SignalFire was founded in 2013 and was built from the start with artificial intelligence at its core. The firm has backed companies such as Grow Therapy, a mental health platform connecting patients with licensed therapists; EvenUp, an AI software provider helping personal injury lawyers draft legal documents; Grammarly, a writing assistant that uses AI to improve communication; Stampli, a platform streamlining accounts payable workflows; and Horizon3.ai, a cybersecurity company offering automated penetration testing.

SignalFire’s in-house platform, Beacon AI, tracks data on more than 650 million people and 80 million organizations to spot hiring trends, market changes, and promising startups. This technology helps SignalFire actively support its portfolio companies with hiring, data strategy, and business growth from the earliest funding stages through Series B.
