Yarbo, a maker of modular, all-season intelligent yard robots, has closed a new $27 million Series B funding round.
Yarbo’s primary product is a multi-functional, all-season robotic yard assistant that uses a “1+N” modular design powered by a single intelligent core robot. Current modules include a Snow Blower, Lawn Mower, Leaf Blower, and the newly launched Trimmer Module, with additional units under development for spraying, garbage transport, and fruit harvesting. Yarbo’s customers include residential homeowners and garden enthusiasts.
Yarbo gained early traction through a $3.4 million crowdfunding campaign in 2022 and a direct-to-consumer pre-order program in 2024 that generated more than 6,000 full-payment orders. This year, the company expects 4–5x sales growth driven by global expansion and increasing demand for modular robotic systems in the home automation market.
New York-based Yarbo, led by CEO and founder Allen Huang, originally launched in 2015 as Snowbot but later rebranded to Yarbo to reflect its broader product scope.
This new capital will help Yarbo scale mass production of its modular robotic systems and will also support talent acquisition and bolster the company’s liquidity ahead of anticipated pre-IPO planning as it expands into new markets across North America, Europe, Japan, and Australia.
