Team8 Raises $500 Million

Team8 is an active investor in the cybersecurity, data, artificial intelligence, fintech, and digital health sectors

Team8, an investor in companies that participate in the digital transformation, has held a closing of three new funds with an aggregate $500 million of capital.

The three new funds include the firm’s third Venture Creation Enterprise Fund with $110 million of capital to invest in seed rounds for startups operating in the fields of cyber, data infrastructure and artificial intelligence; the firm’s first Venture Creation Digital Health Fund with $70 million in capital to invest in start-up companies active in revolutionizing the digital health ecosystem; and its second Venture Capital Fund with $235 million of capital to invest in Seed and Series A rounds of companies operating in the cyber, enterprise infrastructure, fintech, and digital health sectors.

In addition, to these three funds, Team8 also raised an additional $85 million in continuation capital to invest in existing Team8 portfolio companies.

“In the face of strong market headwinds, including global economic hurdles, downturns in the tech market, and a complex geopolitical climate – our announcement emphasizes the resilience of the Team8 model in building and investing in companies, and the substantial value we consistently deliver to our portfolio companies,” said Yuval Shachar, the managing partner and chairman of Team8.

Team8 pursues venture creation and venture capital investments in the cybersecurity, data, artificial intelligence, fintech, and digital health sectors. Team8 was founded in 2014 and has built 20 companies, invested in an additional 21, and closed 8 exits.

With the close of these three new funds and the continuation capital, Team8 now has more than $1 billion in assets under management. Team 8 has offices in Tel Aviv and New York City.
